Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Automotive Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and experience in vehicle maintenance and diagnostics.
Responsibilities
- Perform automotive diagnostics to identify failures and malfunctions.
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment to conduct repairs and maintenance on various vehicle systems, including powertrain components.
- Conduct routine vehicle maintenance tasks.
- Communicate effectively with service advisor regarding the vehicle's needs and repair options.
- Stay updated on the latest automotive technologies and repair techniques to enhance skills and service quality.
- Maintain and keep all work areas/floors clean and free of debris.
Experience
- Minimum 5 years proven experience as an Automotive Technician.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot and repair various automotive systems.
- Familiarity with automotive diagnostic tools and equipment is mandatory.
- European import specialists preferred - must have desire to work on European vehicles.
- Experience in using both hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
- Welding experience is a plus.
- Valid Driver's License and insurance REQUIRED.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $40.00 - $50.00 per hour
Expected hours: 45 – 60 per week
Schedule:
- 10 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
