Core Responsibilities:
- Perform thorough diagnostics, maintenance and repairs to Mopar vehicle systems including engine, transmission, electrical steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, etc.
- Complete comprehensive routine vehicle inspections to ensure safety and reliability, documenting findings and recommended maintenance or repairs.
- Inform the Service Advisor of all recommended maintenance or additional repairs needed, estimating the time needed to complete additional services.
- Execute work specified on the repair order to dealership and manufacturer standards.
- Complete warranty repair work in accordance with manufacturer requirements.
Desired Qualifications and Experience:
- A minimum of 2 years of experience working on Mopar vehicles including inspections, diagnostics, repairs and preventative maintenance required.
- Mopar/FCA certifications are required.
- In-depth knowledge of manufacturer guidelines.
- Demonstrates thorough workmanship coupled with strong troubleshooting and problem solving abilities.
- Effective written and verbal communication and general computer skills.
- Must have your own tools and tool box.
- A valid driver’s license and clean driving record are required.
- Must pass a pre-employment background check and drug screening.
Hour and Work Environment:
The Service Department is open Monday – Friday 7am to 6pm and Saturdays 7am to 5pm. We are looking for candidates with flexible availability to work various shifts during the Service Department’s business hours, including some Saturdays. Our team enjoys a positive, productive team-oriented environment, and a climate-controlled, state-of-the-art shop.
