We are looking for experienced Mechanics or hobbyists with extensive diagnostics experience/mindset to join our hybrid + electric vehicles shop! We are looking for someone who is ready to get their hands dirty and be the surgeon for these vehicles! Full-Time Positions and part time available + Competitive Compensation DOE. Training is available, but professional background and troubleshooting skills is a plus.
Prius and Tesla Service Center is at the forefront of the automotive industry's transition to sustainable, high-performance vehicles specializing in rebuilding motors and batteries.
Automotive Mechanic/Technician / Responsibilities:
- Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle automotive systems including all mechanical/electrical issues; engine build/work, transaxles and bearings, and battery diagnostics, etc..
- Complex car diagnostics and troubleshooting is a plus
- Conduct repairs and replacements on high-voltage battery systems, powertrains, and electrical components.
- Perform thorough vehicle inspections.
- Maintain accurate logs on work and issues.
- Battery Repairs and diagnostics
- Communicate directly with the Service Advisor so that customers are well-informed of any additional services needed to ensure 100% accuracy and customer satisfaction.
- Keep an open mind and communicate ideas for improvement of the efficiency in our processes.
- Maintain equipment and tools in good condition.
Automotive Mechanic/Technician / Qualifications:
- Prior Automotive experience preferred - ideally 3-5 years minimum.
- Working knowledge of vehicle diagnostic systems and methods.
- Ability to handle various tools and heavy equipment.
- Prioritize and manage multiple tasks, changing priorities as necessary
- Work under pressure and adapt to changing requirements with a positive attitude
- Self-motivated, proactive and an effective team player
- Interact effectively and professionally with all levels of employees, both management and staff alike, vendors, clients, and others
- Strong communication skills.
