Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Automotive Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and experience in automotive repair, with a focus on both gasoline engines and Hybrid vehicles. This role requires proficiency in diagnosing and repairing various vehicle systems, including powertrain components and advanced driver-assistance systems (ADAS). A commitment to excellent customer service is essential, as you will be interacting with clients to understand their vehicle issues and provide effective solutions.
Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostics and repairs on a variety of vehicles, including Toyota vehicles.
- Conduct thorough inspections to identify mechanical issues and recommend necessary repairs.
- Utilize auto estimating software to provide accurate repair estimates to customers.
- Repair or replace components of powertrain systems, ensuring optimal performance.
- Work with advanced driver-assistance systems (ADAS) to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety protocols.
- Communicate effectively with customers regarding their vehicle's condition and repair needs.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and high-quality service.
Skills
- Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in automotive repair.
- Proficiency in auto estimating software and the ability to transmit estimates effectively.
- Experience working with powertrain systems and diesel engine repair is preferred.
- Familiarity with advanced driver-assistance systems (ADAS) is a plus.
- Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to explain technical issues clearly to clients.
- Ability to weld and perform structural repairs as needed.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- A valid driver's license is required.
