Job Overview: We are currently seeking an Express Lube Technician to join our Nissan team. As an Express Lube Technician, you will play a crucial role in providing efficient and high-quality vehicle maintenance services. The ideal candidate will have previous experience at an automotive dealership, a strong understanding of the service drive, and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service.
Responsibilities:
- Check and Communicate Oil Level: Inspect and communicate oil levels to teammates.
- Ensure Tire Pressure: Verify and adjust tire pressure for proper inflation.
- Inspect and Refill Fluid Levels: Conduct fluid level inspections and refill as necessary.
- Complete Vehicle Inspection: Perform thorough vehicle inspections to identify potential issues.
- Oil Drain Plug and Filter Installation: Install a new oil drain plug and a new oil filter during oil change procedures.
- Clean and Lubricate Fittings: Clean and lubricate fittings as needed to ensure optimal performance.
- Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service, prioritizing our customer’s perspective.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience at an automotive dealership
- Strong understanding of the service drive
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Dexterity, requiring a steady hand and excellent hand-eye coordination
- Mechanical and troubleshooting skills
- Excellent customer service skills
- Basic computer competencies
- Positive, friendly attitude, along with a customer service mentality
- Enjoy working in a fast-paced environment
- Team player with the ability to collaborate effectively
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Willing to submit to pre-employment drug screen and background check
