Position Overview:
We’re seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Auto Body Painter to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for refinishing vehicles to restore them to pre-accident condition with precision and care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform all steps of the painting process, including surface preparation, masking, priming, color matching, and topcoat application.
- Inspect completed work to ensure quality and consistency.
- Mix and apply paint according to manufacturer specifications and shop standards.
- Operate and maintain spray guns, compressors, and other painting equipment.
- Adhere to safety and environmental regulations, ensuring proper handling and disposal of hazardous materials.
- Collaborate with technicians and team members to meet project deadlines and exceed customer expectations.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years as an auto body painter in a professional setting.
- Skills: Expertise in color matching, blending, and achieving a flawless finish.
- Knowledge of modern automotive paint systems (waterborne, solvent-based, etc.).
- Ability to operate and maintain painting tools and equipment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while meeting deadlines.
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $17.00 - $23.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 50 per week
