We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Automotive Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in automotive service and repair, with a particular focus on GM vehicles and powertrain systems. This role requires a thorough understanding of automotive diagnostics, electrical systems, and the ability to work with various schematics. As an Automotive Mechanic, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and performance of our clients' vehicles.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on a variety of vehicles, with an emphasis on Foreign models.
- Diagnose mechanical issues using advanced automotive diagnostic tools and techniques.
- Perform Alignments.
- Conduct repairs on powertrain components, including engines and transmissions.
- Troubleshoot and repair diesel engines as needed.
- Work with Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) to ensure proper functionality.
- Interpret schematics and technical manuals to guide repairs and maintenance tasks.
- Repair and maintain automotive electrical systems, ensuring all components function correctly.
- Maintain accurate records of services performed and parts used for each vehicle.
- Collaborate with team members to improve service efficiency and customer satisfaction.
- Tech Savvy - We use Asana for vehicle project management.
Skills
- Must Know How to Perform Alignments
- Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in automotive service and repair.
- Proficiency in diagnosing issues related to European vehicles, including powertrain systems.
- Experience in diesel engine repair is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) is a plus.
- Ability to read and interpret schematics related to automotive electrical systems.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail in diagnostics and repairs.
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with customers and team members.

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour
Expected hours: 25 – 35 per week
