Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on a variety of vehicles, including but not limited to oil changes, brake replacements, and tire rotations.
- Diagnose automotive issues using advanced diagnostic tools and equipment.
- Maintain accurate records of all services performed and parts used.
- Communicate effectively with service advisors regarding the vehicle's needs, repairs, and maintenance options.
- Stay updated on the latest automotive technologies, including Advanced Driver-Assistance Systems (ADAS) and powertrain components.
- Collaborate with other technicians to ensure efficient workflow and high-quality service delivery.
- Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean working environment.
Skills
- Proven experience as an Automotive Technician or Service Technician with a focus on automotive repair.
- Strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of automotive systems, including powertrain components.
- Proficient in automotive diagnostics with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues effectively.
- Ability to transmit technical information clearly and concisely to customers and team members.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Familiarity with automotive service procedures and maintenance schedules.
- The ability to maintain a clean and organized workspace.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
