Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Auto Body Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in auto body repair and restoration, with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship. This role involves repairing and restoring vehicles to their pre-accident condition, ensuring customer satisfaction through exceptional service and craftsmanship.
Duties
- Perform repairs on damaged vehicles, including bodywork, frame straightening, and refinishing.
- Utilize hand tools and equipment to complete repairs efficiently and accurately.
- Conduct airless paint spraying to achieve a smooth finish on repaired surfaces.
- Replace or repair auto glass as needed, ensuring proper installation and sealing.
- Execute welding tasks to restore structural integrity to vehicles.
- Work with sheet metal to repair or replace damaged panels.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of projects while maintaining high standards of quality.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
- Communicate effectively with customers regarding repair processes and timelines.
- Access computer information for vehicle repair processes.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as an Auto Body Technician or similar role in an automotive repair setting for at least 5 years.
- Proficiency in using hand tools, welding equipment, and other machinery related to auto body repair.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot various vehicle issues.
- Experience working in a dealership environment is preferred but not required.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting as needed during the repair process.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Excellent problem-solving, organizational skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- A valid driver's license is required.
- Ability to read, write and speak in English is required.
- Moderate experience in utilizing a computer or mobile phone to access programs such as CCC, Chief Genesis, Alldata and OEM websites.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $23.00 - $27.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
