Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Mechanic or Apprentice to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a background in automotive repair and maintenance.
Candidates Should Have
- General automotive repairs on vehicles ranging from early to late models: braking systems, fuel systems, suspension/frame swaps, electrical systems, engine and transmission mechanical, HVAC systems.
- Fabrication work/ light paint work/ welding/ electrical work/ etc..
- Mechanical troubleshooting, replacement, repair/restoration
Basic Duties Include
- Maintain accurate time logs and records of materials used
- Assist in disassembling/reassembling cars
- Pulling specific parts
- Assist in diagnosing and repairing classic cars
- Various duties assigned
Additional Requirements
- Ability to problem-solve independently and brainstorm with others
- Comfortability with written and oral direction and the ability to switch tasks as needed to meet deadlines
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organization abilities
- Must Have own basic hand tools
- Must be able to lift, carry, and place items up to 50lbs without assistance
- Frequent standing and bending for long periods of time
- Frequent reaching overhead and below knees, including squatting, bending, stooping, kneeling, and twisting.
Hours: Monday-Friday, To be Discussed
