Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Automotive Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive repair and maintenance, with experience in both dealership environments and independent shops. This role requires a thorough understanding of various automotive systems, including powertrain and electrical systems, as well as proficiency in using hand tools and diagnostic equipment. The Automotive Mechanic will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and reliability of vehicles through comprehensive inspections, repairs, and maintenance services.

Duties

Perform routine vehicle maintenance tasks, including oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections.
Diagnose and repair automotive issues related to powertrain, electrical systems, and other vehicle components.
Utilize hand tools and diagnostic equipment to conduct thorough inspections of vehicles.
Align wheels and adjust suspension systems to manufacturer specifications.
Maintain accurate records of all repairs and services performed on vehicles.
Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of repairs while maintaining high-quality standards.
Stay updated on the latest automotive technologies and repair techniques, including Advanced Driver-Assistance Systems (ADAS).

Skills

Proficient in automotive repair techniques with hands-on experience in vehicle maintenance.
Strong knowledge of automotive electrical systems and troubleshooting methods.
Familiarity with powertrain components and their functions within various vehicle models.
Experience with auto body repair is a plus but not required.
Ability to effectively use hand tools and diagnostic equipment for accurate assessments.
Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail to ensure quality workmanship.
Strong communication skills to interact effectively with team members and customers.
