Duncan's Automotive is looking for an experienced Automotive Service Advisor to join our team!

Serving the Citrus Heights, Roseville and Lincoln communities since 1986, we maintain a large and loyal customer base. We are looking for the right person to grow our team. This is an excellent opportunity to join a great team of professionals.

Automotive Service Advisor Responsibilities:

Applicant must have:
Detailed knowledge of automotive systems and repair techniques
Knowledge of the tools, scan tool usage, and shop equipment
Versed on parts ordering and inventory management
Versed on the rules and regulations of the Bureau of Automotive Repair
Min. 5 years' experience and proven track record in the Automotive Industry
Goal Oriented
Great customer service skills
Good communication skills both verbal and written
Great follow up and follow through skills
Computer skills for Invoicing customers and Ordering parts
Experience in completing work orders, revising estimates and final sales transactions
A valid driver's license and an acceptable insurable driving record
MUST be willing to become ASE Certified as an Automotive Service Writer
Adhere to all attendance, punctuality, and timekeeping standards
Keep an open mind and communicate ideas for improvement of the efficiency in our processes.

Automotive Service Advisor Job Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent
5 years’ experience minimum
Valid Driver’s license and clean driving record
Be able to stand for long periods of time
Team oriented, flexible, focused on maintaining a high level of customer service
Must be a motivated self-starter & works well as a team player
