Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Automotive Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a at least 5 years of experience and a strong background in automotive repair and maintenance, with the ability to diagnose and resolve issues efficiently. This role requires a commitment to providing exceptional customer service while ensuring vehicles are serviced to the highest standards.

Responsibilities

Perform routine maintenance and repairs on various types of vehicles, including cars and trucks.
Diagnose and troubleshoot automotive electrical systems and mechanical issues.
Conduct inspections and tests on vehicles to identify problems and ensure safety compliance.
Repair or replace defective parts, components, or systems as needed, including diesel engine repair.
Maintain accurate records of services performed and parts used for each vehicle.
Communicate effectively with customers regarding vehicle issues, repairs needed, and service recommendations.
Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow in the shop environment.
Stay updated on the latest automotive technology and repair techniques through continuous education and training.

Skills

Proficient in automotive repair techniques with hands-on experience as a service technician or mechanic.
Strong knowledge of automotive electrical systems and diagnostics.
Experience in vehicle maintenance practices, including oil changes, brake services, and tire rotations.
Ability to weld and perform minor bodywork as necessary.
Familiarity with dealership standards for repair quality and customer service excellence.
Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail in diagnosing issues.
Strong communication skills to effectively interact with customers and explain technical information clearly.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour
