Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Automotive Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and must have experience in automotive service and repair. This role involves diagnosing issues, performing repairs, and ensuring the optimal performance of vehicles. The Automotive Mechanic will work in a fast-paced environment, providing high-quality service to our customers while maintaining safety standards.

Pay based experience and skill level. Experience is a must!

Responsibilities

Conduct thorough automotive diagnostics to identify issues and recommend solutions.
Perform routine maintenance and repairs on various vehicle systems including engines, transmissions, brakes, and electrical systems.
Utilize schematics to understand vehicle systems and troubleshoot problems effectively.
Repair or replace damaged parts using appropriate tools and techniques.
Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of service tasks.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols.
Document all services performed and maintain accurate records for customer vehicles.
Stay updated on the latest automotive technologies and repair techniques.

Experience

Proven experience as an Automotive Mechanic or in a similar role within a dealership or auto repair shop.
Strong understanding of automotive service procedures and diagnostics.
Experience with diesel engine repair is a plus.
Familiarity with auto body repair techniques is advantageous.
Proficient in welding practices as needed for certain repairs.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
