Job Summary
This Fire Extinguisher Service Technician is responsible for the proper operation and maintenance of portable fire extinguishers. Responsibilities include inspecting, testing and performing fire extinguisher checks in accordance with fire code; identifying system deficiencies and preparing accurate and timely inspection reports.

Duties

Perform inspections and maintenance on existing fire protection systems to ensure compliance with NFPA codes.
Utilize power tools safely and effectively during installation processes.
Install or service fire extinguishers
Test and repair fire extinguishers
Complete detailed inspection reports, documenting any issues
Perform other duties assigned by management

Requirements

Valid Drivers License
Some mechanical/production style experience needed
Some route experience needed
High School Education or GED

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22.68 - $25.38 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
