OBJECTIVES

Perform routine automotive maintenance tasks, including oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections.
Diagnose and repair vehicle issues, such as engine problems, electrical malfunctions, and transmission issues.
Conduct inspections and testing of vehicles to identify necessary repairs or maintenance.
Use diagnostic tools and equipment to diagnose and troubleshoot vehicle problems accurately.
Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Provide excellent customer service by addressing customer concerns and explaining repairs or maintenance needed.

COMPETENCIES

Proven experience as an Auto Mechanic or in a similar role.
Strong knowledge of automotive systems and components.
Proficient in using diagnostic tools and equipment.
Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks as required in an automotive repair setting.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently or as part of a team.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

High School diploma or GED required.
Proven experience as an Automotive Mechanic.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Ability to spend prolonged periods standing.
Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting heavy objects and working in challenging conditions.
