A+ AUTOMOTIVE is looking for an Automotive Technician who can diagnose and repair simple and complex automotive issues and perform routine maintenance tasks for our clients' vehicles. The successful candidate will use computer diagonostic equipment to pinpoint issues and develop a cost-effective solution for every customer. The ideal candidate will have exceptional customer service skills and be willing to spend the necessary time explaining issues and helping the customer understand their service needs.

Compensation: Ranges between $20 to $30 an hour. (based on experience)

Schedule: Monday to Friday

Hours: 8:00 am to 6:00 pm

Technician Qualities:

Meet with clients to better understand their concerns and identify issues.
Examine cars based on customer requests or concerns.
Perform vehicle assesments and alert clients on issues that will hinder the operation of their vehicle.
Perform basic maintenance including changing oil, rotating and balancing tires and checking fluid levels.
Repair or replace worn parts and systems such as spark plugs, wheel bearings, brake pads, fuel systems, and sensors.
Diagnose and repair various issues for cars, trucks and vans.
Knowledge of the mechanical and electrical components of automobiles including brakes, steering systems, drive belts, engines and transmissions.

Technician Requirements:

Must supply your own hand tools to perform these tasks.
High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Experience with maintenance and repair
Strong communication skills
Physical strength and stamina and ability to lift 50 lbs.
Ability to maintain a professional appearance and provide exceptional customer service.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour
