Left Coast Diesel Livermore is seeking a skilled and knowledgeable technician familiar with Powerstroke, Duramax, and Cummins platforms. While prior experience is preferred, we are open to providing training to the right candidate. We are looking for individuals who can collaborate effectively with others and demonstrate a willingness to learn and grow.

**Responsibilities:**

- Perform routine maintenance on customers' vehicles.

- Remove and replace components such as transmissions, transfer cases, turbochargers, injectors, and water pumps.

- Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues.

- Conduct work in a safe manner, utilizing proper equipment and procedures.

**Requirements:**

- Strong knowledge and background in engine components.

- Ability to perform accurate diagnostic tests on customers' vehicles.

- Must possess a basic set of tools to fulfill assigned tasks.

- Eager and motivated to expand technical skills and expertise.

- Proficient in the safe operation of hydraulic lifts.

**Education and Experience:**

- High school diploma or equivalent.

- Valid California driver's license.

- Previous experience in a related field is required.

- Basic office and computer skills to facilitate part searches and ordering.

**Physical Requirements:**

- Ability to lift objects weighing over 50 pounds.

- Endurance to withstand prolonged periods of standing, kneeling, and bending.

- Safety-conscious mindset, with awareness of surroundings to prevent accidents.
