Gene's Auto is a family-owned and operated single location auto repair shop. We pride ourselves on being the best. We work on American and Asian vehicles. We work Monday-Friday from 7:30 to 5:00. No weekends. We have an AC cooled shop in summer and heated in the winter. We offer competitive wages. PTO after 1 year. All major holidays off and paid. Responsibilities:
- Perform routine automotive maintenance tasks, including oil changes, tire rotations, and filter replacements
- Conduct diagnostic tests to identify vehicle issues and make necessary repairs
- Repair or replace faulty components, such as brakes, engines, and transmissions
- Perform vehicle inspections and recommend necessary repairs or maintenance
- Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean and organized work area

Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proven experience as an automotive mechanic or technician
- Strong mechanical knowledge and aptitude
- Proficient in using power tools and diagnostic equipment
- Familiarity with schematics and technical manuals
- Knowledge of GM vehicles is a plus
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Skills:
- Experience with oil changes and routine vehicle maintenance
- Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing automotive issues
- Mechanical knowledge of various vehicle systems and components
- Ability to use power tools effectively
- Familiarity with reading schematics and technical manuals for troubleshooting purposes
