Job Scope:

Monday thru Friday day

Automotive Mechanic provides a high skill level of vehicle maintenance and repairs for a high volume of vehicles . This position takes place in a high volume auto auction environment and not a retail environment.

Job Responsibilities:

Perform Preventive Maintenance: change oil, oil filter, fuel filter, transmission flush, and inspection of vehicle for mechanical deficiencies. Perform light repairs under supervision of a Technician II, Technician III, or Lead Technician.
Based upon certification levels, perform various repairs and maintenance which may include: brake components, tires, tune-ups, suspension components, aerial lifts, electrical systems, State Safety Inspections, interior/exterior components, engine and drive line components, etc.
Keep shop area clean and tidy. Perform work in accordance to safety standards.
Meet daily production and quality goals.
Move or park vehicles to support production flow as necessary.
Maintain a safe, clean and organized shop and work area
Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor

Qualifications:

Minimum of 3 years of vehicle service and repair experience in a mechanic shop performing simple maintenance as well as complex vehicle repairs.
Possess or be able to attain an A.S.E. G1 Certification within first year of employment.
Valid drivers license.
Successful completion of background check and drug test
Ability to work on a team in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to stand for long periods of time, push, pull, bend, stoop and lift up to 30 lbs.

Schedule:

Monday-Friday 8am - 5:30/6:30 approx. Some Saturdays
