Position: Service Advisor

Job Summary: As an Automotive Dealership Service Advisor, you will be the liaison between our customers and our service department. Your primary role is to provide an outstanding service experience by understanding customer needs, recommending appropriate services, and ensuring that repairs and maintenance are completed to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Greet customers and assist them with their service needs in a professional and friendly manner.
Listen to customer concerns and accurately document the issues and service requests.
Provide detailed explanations of recommended services and repairs, and ensure customers understand the work to be performed.
Prepare accurate cost estimates and obtain customer approval before proceeding with any work.
Coordinate with the service technicians to ensure timely and efficient service delivery.
Keep customers informed about the status of their vehicle throughout the repair process.
Handle customer complaints and issues with empathy and a focus on resolution.
Maintain detailed records of services and repairs performed, including parts and labor.
Promote dealership service offerings and specials to enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty.
Ensure all interactions comply with dealership policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent.
Previous experience as a service advisor or in a customer service role in the automotive industry.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
Ability to understand and explain technical information to non-technical customers.
Proficiency with dealership management software and basic computer applications.
A customer-focused attitude with a commitment to delivering exceptional service.
Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
