Our Service Advisor must:

Be passionate about customer service

Duties will include guiding customers through every phase of the repair process:

Scheduling appointments
Routing work to technicians
Ordering parts
Maintaining customer communication on the status of the repair process
Invoicing
Sales

We are seeking an experienced Service Advisor

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

Must have previous experience as a service advisor in an automotive shop

Associate degree or equivalent from two-year College or two – three years related experience in a sales and customer service position preferred. (not required)

LANGUAGE SKILLS:

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.

Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:

Current driver’s licenses.

Proof of minimum state required insurance on personal vehicle.

Maintain a driving record acceptable to our current insurance carrier.

OTHER SKILLS and ABILITIES:

Able to operate computer system, phone, fax, and copy machines.

Must be proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.

Must be able to type a minimum of 50 words per minute.

Must have good people skills, outgoing.

Must have excellent communication skills.

Must be friendly and engaging.

Willing and able to educate customers on their repair and maintenance needs

Confident in sales skills in person and on the phone

Build relationships with our customers so they know, like, and trust you and our business

Be ethical in sales and communication
