Mechanic

Vacuum Truck Rentals, LLC, is one of the largest vacuum truck rental companies in the U.S. with a fleet of more than 800 pieces of equipment and 17 locations nationwide. With a strong emphasis on the customer experience and a 24/7 service guarantee, we are seeking an experienced full-time mechanic in our Gonzales, Louisiana office.

Key Job Functions:

Diagnose and repair hydraulic equipment and systems
Evaluate on-site equipment for repairs and preventative maintenance
Process work order requests including parts orders and requests
Ability to troubleshoot complex diesel and hydraulic systems
Other duties as assigned

Preferred Qualifications:

Minimum Class B CDL required. If a candidate does not have a Class B CDL upon hiring, Vacuum Truck Rentals will facilitate this training. Class A CDL is preferred and must be obtained within 90 days.

Vacuum truck repair experience a plus - willing to train the right candidate.
Candidates must provide all hand tools up to 1 and ½ inch along with ancillary tools to do diesel repair. Specialty and oversized tools provided.
Certified Diesel Mechanics preferred.
Occasional travel required.
Hourly pay based on experience.
