Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostics and repairs on various automotive systems, including powertrain and diesel engines.
- Utilize automotive estimating software to provide accurate repair estimates to customers.
- Conduct thorough inspections and maintenance services on vehicles, adhering to safety standards.
- Interpret schematics and technical manuals to troubleshoot issues effectively.
- Execute welding tasks as needed for vehicle repairs.
- Work with Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) to ensure proper functionality of modern vehicles.
- Maintain clear communication with customers regarding their vehicle's condition and recommended services.
- Document all work performed in accordance with company policies and procedures.
Experience
- Proven experience as an Automotive Technician or similar role is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of automotive diagnostics, repair techniques, and service procedures.
- Familiarity with powertrain systems, diesel engine repair, and automotive service best practices.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to explain technical information clearly to clients.
- Experience with auto estimating software is a plus.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
