Job Description: Position Summary Works under direct supervision and follows established procedures to accomplish assigned tasks. Performs minor repairs and limited preventive maintenance (PM) on assigned equipment.
Reports To: Shop lead technician and/or Maintenance Manager
Job Responsibilities:
- Responsible for oil/lube/tire changes, 13-point inspections, brake inspections and tire repair and replacements, and miscellaneous vehicle repairs
- Take ownership of the sale, removal, and replacement of tires up to, but not limited to commercial vehicles
- Perform routine oil & lube services on commercial vehicles
- Be responsible for equipment repair and maintenance of the store facility, including general housekeeping duties
- Capable of lifting a minimum of 75 lbs.
- Performing oil change services, checking and topping off of all fluids, checking tire pressures and air and cabin filters in a timely manner
- Performing tire rotations, mounting and balancing
- Assist senior mechanics with needed tasks.
- Power wash exterior body of trucks, under hood, framework, and rear working section.
- Conducts safety checks on vehicles.
- Assists with service calls for breakdowns.
- Performs other maintenance related work as required.
- Maintains a clean, safe work area in compliance with Corporate / OSHA Standards.
- Upkeep of shop and tools, ensuring all tools are clean and in proper storage locations, trash is taken out on a regular basis, floors are swept and kept free of any slip and/or trip hazards.
- Other duties as assigned by shop lead or higher supervision.

- Monday-Friday
- Additional hours may be needed
- Shift is 10-12 Hours

- Shop experience a plus
