Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough automotive diagnostics to identify issues accurately.
- Perform repairs on various vehicle systems, including diesel engine repair.
- Utilize hand tools and diagnostic equipment to execute repairs efficiently.
- Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding their vehicle's condition and necessary repairs.
- Prepare detailed auto estimating reports for services rendered.
- Collaborate with service technicians and other team members to ensure timely completion of repairs.
- Stay updated on the latest automotive technologies, including Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS).
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols.
Experience
- Proven experience in automotive repair, preferably within a dealership setting.
- Strong knowledge of automotive diagnostics and repair techniques.
- Familiarity with diesel engine repair is highly desirable.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly.
- Experience using hand tools and diagnostic equipment effectively.
- Background in auto estimating is an advantage.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
