- The one who can warn the desk/young techs about the potential risks of a particular repair
- The one who's good at being able to tell which wheel bearing is making the noise
- The one who is great at "make it work" and "figure it out" moments
- The one who can help the younger techs, when needed
- The one who can get those rotted suspension parts out, hopefully without too much collateral damage.
- The one who seems more mechanically inclined than the average bear, even with random other stuff
- Someone who wouldn't mind a 7:30am start time
Potential Skills/Requirements
- Proven experience as an Automotive Technician or similar role in a dealership or independent shop.
- Keen knowledge of suspension, front end components, exhaust, brake systems, tire mounting/balancing, general maintenance
- Specialized skills with wiring, welding are a plus
- Attention to detail in terms of keeping customer cars clean, checking lug nuts with a torque wrench after repairs, resetting oil reminder lights every time.
- ASE or Factory certifications are great, but not a must. We're looking for everyday experience.
- Ability to diagnose common OBD/Check engine light issues
- Good "find the noise" abilities
- Willing to help others for the greater good of the team.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- NH State Inspection License not mandatory, but would be great.
Our business, and what it can be for you
- We're open Monday-Friday, from 7am to 5pm. No nights, no weekends

- Customer base is generally repeat visitors who are easy to deal with (though you wouldn't have to do much customer service interaction)

- You have a doctors appointment next Thursday at 2:30? Ok, it's on the calendar. No biggie. You need to split a few minutes early on the 10th because your kid has a jazz band concert? Ok, it's on the calendar. No biggie. If you're reliable, you are treated as such.
