Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough automotive diagnostics to identify issues and determine necessary repairs.
- Perform routine vehicle maintenance, including oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections.
- Utilize power tools effectively for repairs and installations.
- Execute welding tasks as required for vehicle repairs.
- Align vehicles to manufacturer specifications to ensure optimal performance.
- Provide exceptional customer service by communicating repair needs and recommendations clearly to clients.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment to promote safety and efficiency.
- Stay updated on the latest automotive technology and repair techniques.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as an Automotive Technician or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of automotive systems, including powertrain components.
- Proficiency in auto estimating and understanding repair costs.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to perform diagnostics effectively.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly.
- Experience with vehicle maintenance practices and procedures.
- Ability to operate power tools safely and effectively.
- Certification from an accredited automotive program is a plus but not required.
