We are seeking a skilled Technician to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical background and be proficient in using hand and power tools. This role involves performing maintenance and repairs on various equipment and vehicles, ensuring they operate efficiently and safely. The Technician will play a crucial role in troubleshooting issues and implementing effective solutions.
Duties
- Conduct routine maintenance and repairs on vehicles and equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for various repair tasks.
- Diagnose mechanical issues using diagnostic tools, including an ohmmeter, to assess electrical systems.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs performed.
- Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot complex mechanical problems.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations while performing all tasks.
- Assist in the training of junior technicians as needed.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in vehicle maintenance or a related field is preferred.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to understand complex systems.
- Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment, including an ohmmeter.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Strong communication skills to effectively convey technical information.
