Overview
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Apprentice Automotive Technician to join our team. This entry-level position is ideal for individuals looking to gain hands-on experience in the automotive industry while working under the guidance of experienced technicians. The Apprentice will assist in various automotive repair and maintenance tasks, contributing to the overall efficiency and effectiveness of our service department.
Responsibilities
- Assist in diagnosing and repairing vehicles under the supervision of a certified technician.
- Perform routine vehicle maintenance, including oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and effectively to complete assigned tasks.
- Support auto body repair efforts by preparing surfaces and assisting with paint applications.
- Help with heavy lifting and moving of automotive parts and equipment as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure safety and efficiency.
- Participate in training sessions to enhance mechanical knowledge and skills related to automotive service.
Experience
- Basic knowledge of automotive repair principles is preferred but not required; willingness to learn is essential.
- Familiarity with mechanical systems, vehicle maintenance, and auto restoration techniques is a plus.
- Experience using hand tools, power tools, and equipment commonly found in an automotive shop setting.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting as required in various repair tasks.
- A passion for cars and mechanics, along with a strong desire to develop skills in the automotive field.

Pay: $17.00 - $22.00 per hour
