Experience & Qualifications:
- 1-2 years automotive repair experience preferred
- Trade school experience a plus
- ASE or I-CAR certifications a plus
- Ability to learn and understand collision repair processes and terminology
- Understanding of technology & basic software programs
- Ability to learn Aftermarket and OEM diagnostic scan tools and factory software
- Knowledge and ability to use computers, mobile devices, and related technology efficiently
- Travel may be required for continuing education and certification training
- Self -motivated, positive attitude, with a customer focused vision
- Ability to develop relationships and foster a high level customer experience
- Perform static and dynamic ADAS Calibrations on foreign, domestic and EV (electric) vehicles on site or at customer locations
- Troubleshoot complex calibration repairs
- Test drive vehicles after repairs are completed
- Adequately explain ADAS calibration specifications and repair planning needs; to include collision repair center personnel, insurance adjusters, and direct customers
- Basic knowledge of how to remove and install vehicle parts – Example: Bumper, trim panels, mirrors
- Complete pre and post scans with OE and/or aftermarket tools, communicate outcome effectively
- After training completion, must be able to complete static and dynamic calibrations per OE Specifications
- Communicate with field team to ensure efficiency and productivity
- Responsible for ensuring tooling software updates are completed immediately
- Accountable for assigned inventory (including vehicles, mobile devices, laptops, OE scan tools, other equipment provided)
- Participate in virtual (online) training sessions as needed
- Complete assigned training and certifications as needed
- Maintain a well-organized work area
- Perform other related duties as assigned
