Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Automotive Technician to join our team. As an Automotive Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing various vehicles, including GM vehicles. Would prefer for this to be a full-time position but we are open to part-time. Inspection certified is a plus.
Duties:
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as oil changes, tire rotations, and filter replacements
- Diagnose and repair mechanical issues in vehicles
- Conduct inspections and identify any potential problems or safety concerns
- Use diagnostic tools and equipment to troubleshoot automotive electrical systems
- Weld and fabricate components as needed
- Follow schematics and technical manuals to complete repairs
- Repair or replace damaged auto body parts
- Test drive vehicles to ensure proper functionality after repairs
- Assemble and disassemble vehicle components as necessary
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as an Automotive Technician or similar role
- Strong mechanical knowledge and skills
- Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and equipment
- Familiarity with automotive electrical systems
- Ability to read and interpret schematics and technical manuals
- Knowledge of suspension systems, brakes, transmissions, and engines
