What You Will Do:
Pratt & Whitney is a world leader in the design, manufacture and service of aircraft engines and auxiliary power units. The company offers a well-balanced portfolio of engines for next generation fighters and commercial aircraft, and leads the industry with our game-changing PurePower® family of engines and patented Geared Turbofan™ technology and is a leader in powering freedom for military’s around the globe with engines such as the F135.
Aftermarket & Sustainment Engineering (ASE) is looking for a dynamic leader to lead our military on-site at Tinker Air Force Base, also known as the ASE ELMT (Engine Life Management Team). This individual will be the ASE Site Manager, support all Military Engine Programs and represent ASE in Depot related interactions with both Joint Program Office (JPO) and USAF customers.
- Manage customer expectations to ensure delighted internal and external customers to ASE through the Market Feedback Analysis (MFA) process.
- Work with the ASE management team and broader engineering teams including module centers, customer support, sustainment, and program offices to determine the strategic path for on-site ELMT.
- Support the Repair Program Managers to ensure proper allocation of budgets, tracking Earned Value, and preparation of Basis of Estimates (BOE) as needed.
- Drive continuous improvement activities and robust root cause investigations to ensure P&W continues to deliver world class customer and shareholder value.
- Maintain connections to the PW and ASE engineering community, including practitioners, chiefs and fellows.
- Operate the OKC Engineering Inspection clinic, execute requested inspections, drive findings back into engineering design, and manage physical space to include resolution of EHS concerns.
- Support continued growth and proficiency development of the ASE ELMT Team and ensure the team is properly staffed.
- Coordinate and grow our university relations/activities (OSU/OU) based in OKC.
Qualifications You Must Have:
- 12 years’ experience with a Bachelor’s in engineering or 10 years’ experience with a Master’s in engineering with 5+ years in leadership or supervisory roles.
- US citizenship is required due to government program requirements

- Solid record of demonstrated leadership and successful project management

- Demonstrated experience in developing high performance teams
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to develop effective working relationships at all levels of the organization
- Direct experience supporting Military customers
- Experience with engine overhaul and cleaning, test, or inspection and repair (CIR) processes
- Ability to effectively team across organizations to accomplish goals
- Strong influencing, management and leadership skills
- Experience in the Aerospace industry

Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance workers, as they are essential to the development of our engines.
Candidates will learn more about role type and current site status throughout the recruiting process. For onsite and hybrid roles, commuting to and from the assigned site is the employee’s personal responsibility.
The salary range for this role is 143,000 USD - 287,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
