Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Automotive Service Technician to join our team at Honda of Fishers in Indiana. As a Full Time Technician in the Auto industry, you will be responsible for performing vehicle maintenance, repairs, and diagnostics on Honda vehicles. Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance and inspections on Honda vehicles, including oil changes, tire rotations, and brake checks
- Diagnose and repair various automotive issues using cutting edge diagnostic equipment and tools
- Perform vehicle repairs and replacements on mechanical and electrical systems, such as engines, transmissions, and brakes
- Keep detailed records of all completed services and repairs
- Communicate effectively with Service Advisors and customers regarding vehicle issues and recommended repairs
- Adhere to all safety protocols and dealership policies and procedures
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Technical or vocational training in automotive repair and maintenance
- At least 2 years of experience as an Automotive Technician in a dealership or repair shop setting
- Knowledge of automotive systems, including engines, transmissions, brakes, and electrical systems
- Must have own tools and diagnostic equipment
- Strong attention to detail and ability to troubleshoot complex vehicle issues
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- ASE certifications preferred but not required
