We are committed to ownership, accountability, and a standard of excellence that won’t bend. Our culture is built on accountability and growth, where each team member takes ownership of their work and development. We’re looking for a Team Leader who lives by these principles and has the drive to uphold them every single day.
Position Overview
As a Team Leader, your mission is clear: lead your team with confidence, maintain smooth communication between the shop and office, and ensure every vehicle that leaves this shop reflects our standards. This role demands discipline, focus, and adaptability—all with unwavering integrity. You’ll bridge the communication gaps, ensure a seamless workflow, and motivate your team to deliver excellence without excuses.
What We Expect
- Leadership with No Compromise: Step in as a leader who motivates, trains, and holds every team member accountable. Lead by example, showing the discipline and ownership required for success. We expect you to have a genuine interest in leadership development, whether through reading, training, or hands-on mentorship.
- Operational Mastery: Oversee daily workflows, coordinate tasks with precision, and drive each repair to completion efficiently. Be prepared to make split-second decisions and prioritize what matters most.
- Mentorship and Development: Our technicians look to you for guidance and growth. Conduct regular reviews, provide real feedback (no sugar-coating), and ensure they’re equipped to operate with confidence and precision.
- Clear Communication, No Excuses: Act as the bridge between the shop floor and front office, ensuring no miscommunication and that every job flows smoothly. Every detail matters, so it’s your job to make sure it’s understood by all.
- Accountability for the Highest Standards: If something goes wrong, you’re the first to take responsibility and fix it. Every repair that leaves our shop reflects your leadership.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 Years in Automotive Repair: Proven experience, with a commitment to excellence in diagnostics and repairs.
- Uncompromising Leadership: Strong background in team management and accountability. You understand that discipline equals freedom.
- Master of Your Craft: ASE certification preferred, along with an ability to handle complex repairs and provide technical guidance.
- State Inspection and Emissions Certification: State inspection license and emissions inspection certification preferred. If not currently held, must be willing and able to obtain within the next 12 months.
- Clear and Concise Communication: Ability to give direct, constructive feedback and bridge communication between the office and shop.
