Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Automotive Technician to join our team. ASE certifications preferred. The ideal candidate will have a passion for automotive repair and maintenance, providing exceptional service to our customers. As an Automotive Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing issues, performing repairs, and ensuring vehicles are in optimal condition. Your expertise will contribute to the overall satisfaction of our clients and the success of our dealership.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair vehicle issues using advanced diagnostic tools and equipment.
- Perform routine vehicle maintenance including oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively to carry out repairs and maintenance tasks.
- Maintain accurate records of services performed and parts used for each vehicle.
- Communicate with customers regarding their vehicle's condition, necessary repairs, and maintenance recommendations.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow in the service department.
- Stay updated on the latest automotive technologies and repair techniques to enhance skills.
Experience
- Previous experience as an Automotive Technician or in a similar role within a dealership environment is preferred.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients regarding their vehicle needs.
- Proficiency in automotive repair techniques, including auto estimating and alignment procedures.
- Familiarity with vehicle maintenance standards and practices.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- A valid driver's license is required; additional certifications in automotive repair are a plus.

Pay: $25.00 - $40.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
