The Automotive Service Manager helps lead a team of service professionals to deliver exceptional value and satisfaction to our customers on a continuous basis. Helps plan, train, lead, and monitor the performance of service advisors, service technicians, and support staff to promote 100% customer satisfaction and revenue growth in line with targeted business and financial objectives. This management position is responsible for the service operation, which includes both the employees’ experience as well as the experience of our clients. Responsible for running a successful operation which includes the development of talent and the overall production and profitability of the department.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist customers in servicing, repairing, and explaining each service needed
- Understand customer, match requirements and concerns to various service options
- Explain service being performed and keep customer informed and updated throughout the service of their vehicle
- Stay up to date on new products, features, accessories and attending product training as required
- Maintain a service customer follow up system that supports repeat and referral business and contributes to customer happiness
- Advise, guide and plan for team members to attain financial goals and company standards
- Produce an environment which is conducive to managing daily workflow effective and efficiently
- Utilize pricing parameters and strategies to generate profit
- Hire and supervise all service department personnel, as well as monitor their performance in servicing customers
- Advance manufacture relationships to promote our product and services
- Partner with all dealership personnel to ensure superior quality of service is delivered
- Comply with federal, state, and local regulations that affect service operations
- Craft goals and objectives for the department, which include an annual operating budget, and a marketing plan to promote new business
- Maintain a high Customer Service Index (CSI) rating by handling customer complaints immediately and appropriately
- Perform other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS:
- 3 years of automotive managerial experience
- Successful track record with dealership service experience
- Stellar work ethic, outgoing and personable team member
- Proven leadership ability to mentor and train team members
- Proficient time management and organizational skills
- Exemplary communication and customer service skills
- Driven personality, eager to improve and able to work within and support internal teams
- Pass background screening, pre-placement drug screening and must have an acceptable Motor Vehicle Report
COMPENSATION:
The Automotive Service Manager Position has a Pay Scale consisting of the following elements and ranges. Wages include Base Salary Compensation of between $5,550.00 and $5,550.00. The position also may also pay a production bonus based on individual or team performance that may range from $0.00 (if baseline benchmarks are not met) without any fixed upper limit.
- Annual Pay Range: $66,600 - $210,000 (annual average $185,000-$210,000). This position pays salary plus monthly bonus. Lots of income potential, strong & loyal customer base!
