We are seeking a full-time Automotive Technician (ALL LEVELS) candidate to join our team.
You will be responsible for building customer loyalty by developing trust and ensuring confidence in Bayou Automotive as the care-giver for their vehicle’s safety and reliability.
Certified Technician Responsibilities:
- Perform vehicle repair and/or maintenance work as outlined on repair order with efficiency and accuracy, in accordance with dealership and factory standards
- Test-drive vehicles, and test components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipment.
- Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle automotive systems
- Conduct multi-point inspections to make appropriate recommendations to ensure safety and reliability of Customer vehicles.
- Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications.
- Document work performed on each vehicle on the repair order
- Communicate directly with the Service Advisor so that customers are informed if any additional service is needed. Provide an estimate of time needed for additional repairs.
- Work with the Parts Department to ensure the correct parts are ordered and timeline of when they will be received.
