Job Description:
- Documenting service: Create detailed service reports for customers and document all service procedures performed
- Maintaining inventory: Record oil and parts usage and reorder supplies when needed
- Cleaning: Clean the shop floor and all work areas
- Advising customers: Advise customers on additional recommended services based on mileage and vehicle history
- Oil changes: Drain and replace engine oil according to manufacturer specifications
- Fluid checks: Top off fluids like brake, power steering, and windshield wiper fluid
- Tire rotations: Rotate tires and check pressure and tread depth
- Other maintenance: Perform brake care, spark plug replacements, and tune-ups
- Diagnosing issues: Inspect the engine block and underbody for leaks and potential issues
- Installing parts: Install new parts like air filters, oil filters, windshield wipers, and batteries
Job Requirements: Role and Responsibilities:
Inspect all equipment as necessary
Exercise good judgment when reviewing & repairing trucks & trailers
Report any equipment concerns to supervisor.
Perform preventive maintenance
Repair any & all equipment as needed
Must keep a current driver’s license and ability to get to and from work daily.
Handle breakdowns, driver issues & complaints
Other duties as assigned by management.
Pay rate is $25 per hour. Overtime paid after 40 hours.
Required to work two weekends a month.
Weekends not working will be on call at $3 an hour for 12 hours.
Must be able to Lift 75-90Lbs
Basic hand tools required. All other tools are provided.
Candidate should be willing to work up to 60 hours a week.
Qualifications and Education Requirements – High School Diploma or Equivalent
Must be able to handle a fast paced environment
