Travel to company sites primarily in Sacramento, Fairfield, San Jose. Provide maintenance, repair and diagnostic services for gas and diesel vehicles and truck / trailer mounted traffic control equipment.
Services include engine service, brake service, engine diagnostics, inspections, cooling system service, electrical diagnostics, etc.
Job Duties :
- Receive direction from Divisional Fleet Manager and Branch Managers
- Perform instructed repairs and maintenance on company operated sites as well as breakdown repairs in the field
- Communicate with management on repair status and completion estimates
- Maintain service truck in a professional manner
- Complete paperwork in a timely manner
- Keep service truck stocked with inventory
- Adhere to all safety policies and traffic laws
Qualifications :
- Minimum 3 years experience with diesel and gas truck repair, trailer repair, maintenance, and diagnostics
- DOT Inspector and Air Brake Inspector qualified
- Must be able to provide sufficient tooling to perform all standard repair and maintenance tasks
- Physical requirements include standing, bending, lifting (50+ lbs), and sitting for long periods of time in varied temperatures, weather conditions, and site conditions
- Valid California driver’s license
- High attendance and punctuality requirement
- This position can be based out of either San Jose or Sacramento with primary focus on Northern California facilities
- DOT medical card and Valid California DL
Pay : 65k-75k
