Position Summary
Amerit Fleet Solutions, one of the leading fleet maintenance companies in the US, is looking to hire a skilled Mechanic in Antioch, CA. The Mechanic will be responsible for the timely repair and maintenance of light duty fleet vehicles for one of the nations largest delivery fleets. You will only be going to 1-2 job site per shift (at the Amazon Distribution Center) and you will be using our mobile service center (essentially a garage on wheels)
Compensation: Competitive Hourly Pay - Paid weekly, every Friday!
Shift: Monday- Friday 7:00 PM- 3:30 AM
Pay: $30-40/hr (depending on experience)

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Prepare vehicle records and report both manually and on a computer
- Perform repairs and preventative maintenance to vehicles
- Inspect and perform work on the under parts of vehicles
- Access any area of the equipment or vehicle to perform necessary maintenance
- Perform safety inspections of equipment and prepare required safety documentation
What the Mobile Mechanic role looks like:
- At least 2 years’ experience as a Mechanic performing light duty vehicle repair and maintenance or must possess auto or diesel technology diploma from an accredited technical school
- Must be able to operate a manual transmission vehicle to determine if operating properly
- Excellent communication skills and proficient computer skills
- Must have own tools
- Must have valid driver's license
Working Conditions
- Exposure to heavy traffic areas while performing the duties of the job.
- Exposure to considerable amounts of dust, diesel fumes and noise.
- Exposure to chemicals, oils, greases, or other irritants
- Ability to move and position heavy objects
- Ability to bend, stoop, crouch, kneel and crawl to repair vehicles
- Ability to work outside in various weather conditions.

Pay: $30.00 - $40.00 per hour
