As a Working Shop Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the store, managing staff, as well as preforming service work. This role requires a strong understanding of auto/body shop management and a focus on driving sales while maintaining a positive shopping experience for customers.
As a Body Shop Assistant Manager, your job duties will include:
- Direct the activities of Body Shop associates in performing collision and body repairs, meeting time schedules, productivity levels and maintaining quality standards.
- Develop and nurture business relationships with insurance adjusters, agents, customers, and other sources to assure an adequate sales volume.
- Monitor and maintain company targets and standards for performance and growth.
- Proficient in CCC1 writing collision and PDR estimates, supplementing insurance carriers and ordering parts as needed.
- Serves as a model and holds team accountable for providing the highest level of customer service in the industry.
- Recruit, manage and develop associates for future growth within our organization.
- Excels in a fast paced, competitive work environment while ensuring positive company morale.
- Creating and instilling a sense of urgency with the team to exceed goals.
- Ensure that the shop is maintained, organized, and presentable.
- Performs other duties of a similar nature or level.
- Manage store inventory, including stock levels and restocking
- Provide exceptional customer service and resolve any customer inquiries or issues
- Interviewing and Hiring
- Lead and train employees, including conducting orientations and performance evaluations
- Implement marketing strategies to drive store traffic and increase sales
Required Qualifications:
- 5 Years Verifiable Position Experience Required
- Sound Skills in Collision and Body Shop Production
- Proficient in CCC1 Required
- I-Car Certified
- High school diploma or GED Required
- Valid Driver's License Required
- Proficiency in math for inventory management and sales analysis
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle various customer situations
- Knowledge of employee training and development practices
- Ability to adapt to a fast-paced retail environment
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $85,000.00 - $105,000.00 per year
