Job Summary We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Automotive Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for performing a wide range of automotive repairs and maintenance services, including engine diagnostics, brake repairs, suspension work, and electrical system repairs. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of automotive systems and components, and be able to diagnose and repair issues quickly and efficiently. You should also have excellent communication skills and be able to work well in a team environment. A valid driver's license and certification from a recognized automotive training program are required for this position. Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair complex automotive issues using advanced diagnostic equipment and procedures
- Perform engine repairs including internal component replacement
- Conduct brake system repairs, including hydraulic system diagnosis and repair, brake pad and rotor replacement, and caliper replacement
- Repair and replace suspension and steering components, including shocks, struts, control arms, and ball joints
- Perform electrical system repairs, including wiring repairs, battery and alternator replacement, and diagnosis and repair of complex electrical issues
- Conduct routine maintenance services, including oil changes, tire rotations, and fluid flushes
- Keep accurate records of work performed, including labor time and parts used, and maintain a clean and organized work area
- Stay up-to-date with the latest automotive technologies and repair techniques through ongoing training and education
- Communicate effectively with service advisors to explain repairs and recommend additional services as needed
- Ensure all repairs are completed safely and to the highest quality standards, and comply with all relevant regulations and safety standards.
