Anderson Ford of Clinton is looking for an Automotive Technician with on-the-job experience. We want someone who is customer driven, a true team player, and passionate about the job. Ford or ASE certification is a bonus, and enthusiasm for performance vehicles is a plus. Experience with performance vehicles (Roush, Shelby, etc.), blower installation and tuning is an added advantage. Diesel experience is also a plus! We have had record sales in our Service Department, and we want someone who will help us take it to the next level!
Job responsibilities may include:
· Work on Roush, Shelby and custom modified Ford products, plus the normal Ford family of vehicles from Fusions to Diesels.
· Complete repair assignments efficiently, safely, and correctly. Work must pass quality inspections set forth by the dealership and manufacturer standards.
· Test components and systems using diagnostic tools and special service equipment.
· Diagnose, maintain, and repair automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, brakes, and air conditioning.
· Complete repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications.
· Communicate with Service Advisors and managers regarding status of work.
· Complete and remain current with manufacturer certifications.
· Strong Automotive Background
· Strong Teamwork Skills
· Willing to submit to a drug screen and background check
· Must have a clean valid driver’s license
