This is a 6 month temporary position.
Job Purpose:
Maintains service operations by inspecting, repairing and servicing vehicles.
Duties:
* Inspects and tests vehicles; completes repairs and modifications to differential and axle assemblies on light duty vehicles.
*Experience and skills in light duty differential repair are definitely a plus, but not absolutely required. General mechanical skill and intuitive ability to repair vehicles are essential.
*Compensation is hourly plus commission, both based on ability and experience. The company provides Medical benefits, Paid Holidays, Vacation time (PTO), and a 401(k) plan.
* Keeps shop equipment operating by following operating instructions; troubleshooting breakdowns; performing preventive maintenance; calling for repairs and supplies.
* Maintains shop organization and cleanliness at all times.
Experience in differential repair is a plus. General mechanical skills are required. Hours are M-F 8am to 5pm.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $50,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
