Responsibilities of Heavy Equipment Technician:
- Repair heavy equipment, construction equipment, recycling equipment and more
- Perform routine vehicle maintenance on all types of heavy equipment
- Use diagnostic tools to test vehicle components
- Perform quality inspections prior to returning the vehicle to the customer
- Our diesel technicians will be responsible for all maintenance of our fleet
- As a diesel mechanic you will work in a clean safe environment
Qualifications of Heavy Equipment Technician:
- Previous experience as a heavy equipment technician/ diesel technician
- Knowledge of shop equipment
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
- Experience with Mobile equipment, bobcats, loaders, heavy equipment, skidsteers, material handlers, cranes, excavators, etc. preferred
- Komatsu Experience preferred
- Aggregate/Road Equipment Experience preferred
- Deadline and detail-oriented
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- 3-5 years of heavy equipment mechanic experience preferred
- diesel technician training is provided as well
