Hiring Associates is seeking a skilled and adaptable mechanic to join a locally-owned Janesville business. If you’re a hands-on backyard mechanic who can work on anything from bicycles to tractors, this is the job for you!
Responsibilities:
- Diagnose, repair, and maintain a variety of equipment, including trucks, lawnmowers, ATVs, tractors, and other small engines.
- Perform routine maintenance and inspections on all types of machinery.
- Troubleshoot mechanical issues and recommend necessary repairs.
- Utilize both manual and power tools for repairs.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Communicate with customers or team members to provide updates on repair status.
Requirements:
- Valid DL and clean driving record.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
- Experience working on a wide range of vehicles and equipment.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
- Basic knowledge of engines, hydraulics, and electrical systems.
- Familiarity with a variety of tools and equipment.
- Must be reliable and able to meet deadlines.
