As an Experienced Technician, you will be responsible for following manufacturer guidelines to diagnose and repair vehicle issues. This is not a position for those who are just entering the Automotive Industry but rather, a versatile automotive technician. This is a unique opportunity available for a seasoned technician with prior industry experience.

WHAT YOUR DAY-TO-DAY LOOKS LIKE
- arrive daily with a go-getter mindset
- complete thorough Multi-Point Inspection
- diagnose larger vehicle issues to include check engine light and other illuminated dashboard indicators
- document diagnostic results and any additional vehicle service recommendations
- communicate with Service Advisor pertaining to vehicle recommendations
- perform vehicle repairs per manufacturer guidelines
REQUIREMENTS
- At least 2+ years in an automotive shop (either independent shop or dealer)
- Valid drivers’ license
- High school graduate
- Willing to submit to a background check and drug screening
- Willing to complete manufacturer certifications/training (we will provide access to this if you do not already have it completed)

Pohanka first opened its doors in 1919 and has now grown to a total of 18 stores throughout Maryland, Virginia and Texas. There are 3 stores in Capitol Heights to include Honda, Hyundai and VW.
