Responsibilities:
- Perform routine automotive maintenance tasks, including oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections
- Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues in vehicles
- Utilize schematics and diagnostic equipment to troubleshoot problems
- Conduct powertrain repairs and replacements
- Welding tasks as needed for repairs
- Maintain accurate records of all repairs and services performed
Skills:
- Proficiency with power tools and mechanic's tools
- Strong knowledge of automotive service and repair techniques
- Familiarity with automotive electrical systems
- Ability to work on GM vehicles preferred
- Experience in maintaining powertrains
- Welding skills for necessary repairs
