Service Advisors fulfill a critical role in our operations. They are responsible for building strong customer relationships by consulting with customers regarding their service needs. Together with the technicians, a Service Advisor ascertains the cause of the issue(s) that prompted a given customer's visit, works to address and resolve those issues. We’re looking for a strong person to support our truck customers by providing exceptional service through a strong understanding of the truck service industry. Service Advisor Responsibilities:
- Assist customers at the service counter as well as by phone and taking care of their needs using our Elite Support processes and standards. All aspects of transaction, from taking appointment to completing invoice and collecting from customer.
- Assist fellow service office employees with managing schedule and workload.
- Manage technician time and monitor repair progress for maximum efficiency.
- Work with parts department by gathering information to complete repair estimates before updating customer for approval.
- Work with outside vendors for sublet work needed on customer units.
- Assist with warranty claims at branch level and work with warranty department to ensure maximum warranty recovery with vendors.
- Perform administrative duties.
Service Advisor Requirements:
- Basic computer skills
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Excellent communication and time management skills
- Strong problem solver with the ability to think outside of the box.
- 3 Years of Truck or Automotive Service Writing Experience Required
Service Advisor Qualities:
- Positive attitude
- Solid written and verbal communication skills including excellent customer service and phone skills.
- Organized and able to manage time wisely.
- The desire to succeed in a day-to-day challenging position.
- Mechanical Experience
- Computer Skills (Excel, Word, Excede OS)
